Dental OPTIONS
(Ohio Partnership To Improve Oral health through access to Needed Services)
What is Dental OPTIONS?
OPTIONS is a program offered by the Ohio Dental Association in collaboration with the Ohio Department of Health. The program links Ohio's uninsured working poor, low-income seniors and persons who are medically, mentally or physically challenged with volunteer dentists or dental clinics to provide donated or discounted care, depending on their financial status.
How does a person qualify?
To qualify to receive dental care through Dental OPTIONS, patients must meet income guidelines and not have any form of dental insurance or Medicaid. After eligibility has been determined, the patient is matched with a nearby participating dentist.
