What we do... Each year, thousands of low-income children and adults receive routine dental care at the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio with the assistance of our helpful and friendly staff. Through funding from the United Way, an Ohio Department of Health grant and individual donations, these services can be offered to the community. Untreated dental disease can lead to: pain, infection, unnecessary tooth loss, low self-esteem, poor work or school performance, and in some cases, the inability to secure employment. From pre-school age children with severe decay to growing numbers of older adults on limited incomes, the need for the Dental Center's community education and dental services continues to grow. |
