The Dental Center hosted itsfifth annual Back-2-School event in August 2010, as an incentive for patients to receive cleanings. All 500 backpacks filled with school supplies were distributed to patients who completed treatment. This event was sponsored by Paramount Advantage and Buckeye Community Health.
The fourth annual Back-2-School Parade & Fair Day was held on Friday, August 21, 2009 at the Dental Center! This free fund raising event assisted 115 families in Toledo and 350 backpacks were distributed to children in the community.
The participating vendors were Buckeye, Paramount/Promedica, St. V's Injury Prevention, Imagination Station, Adelante, AIDS Resource Center, Harbor Behavioral Health, Parents Helping Parents, Children Opts, Toledo Library, Toledo Lucas County of Commission on Minority Health, The Source, Help Me Grow (HMG), Central Residents Council, and A to Z Healthcare.
Thank you to all who helped make this event an overwhelming success!
